The Bridge™ For Practitioners

Achieve deeper work between you and your clients with psilocybin therapy through Bidirectional Case Transfers.

Your Bridge Into Psychedelic Therapy

The Bridge, offered by MycoMeditations, enables psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, coaches, and other mental health professionals to refer their clients to a proven and trusted source for legal psilocybin therapy, and be integrated into the process.

Perhaps you, like many mental health professionals, have been increasingly reading the research and hearing many heartfelt stories about the efficacy of psilocybin and other psychedelics. However, ongoing legal restrictions and a lack of therapeutic depth in the available options mean minimal access.

The Bridge is designed to integrate the benefits of psilocybin therapy into your practice through our retreats as a Bidirectional Case Transfer (BCT). It bridges the natural connection between you and your client’s work with their psychedelic retreat experience.

Through sharing and maintaining established treatment pathways, we can provide the most optimal care for your client on retreat and help you best factor their psilocybin therapy experiences back into your own work with them following their retreat.

Your Partner for Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy

Even the most effective therapies and treatments can sometimes plateau. MycoMeditations can help you achieve deeper levels of healing with your clients through the Bridge.

Our Western contemporary model of psilocybin therapy mirrors the best practices of modern therapeutic approaches. MycoMeditations is one of the few science and evidence-based retreats, staffed almost entirely by licensed mental health professionals, operating under the highest clinical standards and proven protocols developed from over 10+ years of practical application.

By participating in this program, your clients would be referred to the leading psychedelic therapy retreat center. With over a decade of experience assisting our clients in overcoming depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more with psilocybin, we are pioneers in this field.

With the Bridge BCT, we are the first psychedelic retreat and psilocybin therapy provider to establish a formal system to integrate traditional mental health professionals with psychedelic treatment providers.

Psychedelic Therapy Retreats
to Help Your Clients

Access and process core psychological material that may be inaccessible through traditional methods alone.

Stimulate new progress in cognitive processes and behaviors that may have grown stagnant, helping therapy move forward again with renewed depth and momentum.

Engage in intensive therapeutic work within a framework that complements and enhances your client’s healing journey.

Step Inside Your Client’s Psilocybin Therapy Experience

The Bridge involves a bidirectional case transfer to ensure that we have all the relevant clinical information and insight before your client attends MycoMeditations.

We work closely with you to maintain continuity of care for the client throughout their whole retreat experience, from the moment they register to when they return home and continue their work with you.

How The Bridge Works

Our process is designed to support therapeutic collaboration and continuity of care after psychedelic retreat experiences.

Step 1 +

Client Applies

You and your client can discuss whether this program is the right fit and if so, they can apply.

Step 2 +

Application is Reviewed.

Assuming your client is approved to attend a retreat, they will be invited to select a date and register.

Step 3 +

Release of Information (ROI) Form is Signed.

With the client’s consent, we begin the clinical collaboration with you.

Step 4 +

You Receive Guidance

We share professional preparation materials for psilocybin therapy and key considerations to help you and your client approach the retreat with clarity, confidence, and alignment.

Step 5 +

Pre-Retreat Case Transfer

In the weeks leading up to the retreat, we ask that you complete a secure form to share all relevant client information with our clinical team. This includes mental health and medication history, trauma background, treatment overview, and your perspective on the client’s present state and intentions for the retreat experience.

All client data for the Bridge is securely encrypted and treated with the highest standard of confidentiality.

Step 6 +

The Retreat

The client travels to Jamaica and undergoes three psilocybin sessions and an extensive mix of group and individual therapy pertaining to the sessions.

Step 7 +

Post-Retreat Case Transfer:

Approximately one week after the retreat, you will receive a detailed clinical summary outlining the client’s psilocybin sessions, their psychological presentation, the therapeutic approaches applied, integration themes, cognitive insights, emotional breakthroughs, and any notable breakthroughs, challenges, or observations from our therapy team.

Our therapy team can be made available should further questions arise from the client’s retreat experience.

Common Questions

What are your credentials?

MycoMeditations is the original therapeutic psychedelic retreat, with our first retreat taking place in 2014. Our experience with psilocybin is unparalleled, as both the long-serving psilocybin retreat and by utilizing the most mental-health-optimized model. We have created the gold-standard in this field for this style of psychedelic retreat, and our retreat teams are staffed almost entirely by licensed mental health professionals trained in psychedelic therapy.

Is this actually effective?

Numerous clinical research studies confirm the efficacy of psilocybin in therapeutic settings. The reduction in symptoms shown in research has been either matched or surpassed by our retreat data, as indicated through our four year survey collection of guest outcomes. MycoMeditations is one of the only retreats that tracks guest outcomes, and we have proven the efficacy of our program through our data collection.

Will this align with my work?

The therapeutic framework of our retreat was developed to be as accommodating and approachable to as many people as possible. Whereas many psychedelic retreats tend to lead guests into a narrow range of interpretations and limited perspective of what can occur, MycoMeditations works with guests to process and integrate their experiences in whatever ways are best suited to them and their current understanding and mental frameworks.

What does working with you involve?

If your client is participating in the Bridge, the participation in our retreat is something you have discussed. Considering psilocybin therapy is a substantial psychological event, we encourage all preparatory efforts to position them to be as open and ready for the experience as possible.

You will be asked to complete a pre-retreat case transfer on your client’s behalf to help our team best plan for their arrival. During retreat, there is nothing that needs to be done. We will take the absolute best care of your client. Following the retreat, we will send you a post-retreat case transfer to share the details of their retreat experience to best assist your client in the integration phase through your continued work.

Will collaborating with you interfere with my clinical boundaries?

Participation in the Bridge is only for people who have discussed the program with their mental health practitioner and have agreed to participate together. How your involvement in the Bridge impacts your own clinical boundaries is up to your discretion.

What kinds of clients benefit most from therapist collaboration?

Clients with a close or long-standing relationship with their therapist will be best served by the Bridge. The program is designed to be an in-depth collaboration between you, your client, and MycoMeditations. Clients who feel completely safe and comfortable with their personal information being shared in order for their providers to offer the best care to them are the ideal candidates.
